"Things fall into place sometimes, organically. That's how this release came to be part of the FBR catalog, and it reflects perfectly where we as a label are at currently. We're so grateful. The music ebbs and flows... Constantly evoking something during even the most subdued periods of the album. I consider dents a masterpiece.

Working "In Music" became miserable for me in late 2016. theclosing brought things back to life, both personally and professionally.

It's not often I feel so comfortable working with people, and theclosing (Alex & Daniela) feel like family. Not simply due to their warm and humble demeanors... It's the music. It really seems to reflect what I know of these lovely individuals, the warmth and often delicate interplay that is always buzzing beneath it all.

There is a darkness at play as well... Pitch-Black at times, however not at all intimidating. In fact the dark sections of this album are just as sonically inviting as those more "Shimmery." It's a world of light and blackness that just progresses, moves around, let's you get comfy and then decides to destroy your comfort zone... Swirling electronics, drones, and vocals-as-instruments create such a compelling listen. It was exactly what I needed to hear for my own benefit, but the fact that we ended up working together was just an extra bonus. It's also quite lovely to know that many of the awesome folks on our roster are friends with this amazing duo... This was meant to be."
